Ian is the band member with the high class and diverse musical tastes being a huge Queen, AC/DC, Kaiser Chiefs and Madness fan. His early years (I know he won't mind us telling you this, but let this be a lesson to anyone who thinks that getting drunk and telling personal secrets is a good thing to do) were founded on two remarkable feats, firstly and most importantly he won a Shakin' Stevens dance competition in the late seventies and secondly appeared in the Big Daddy Fan Album (a wrestler if you didn't know) in 1982. These two earth shaking events fully explain Ian's need to hide behind a lot of wood and metal to this day. On a more serious note his main influences are Neil Peart of Rush, Roger Taylor of Queen, Ginger Baker and Animal of the Muppets. Favourite Albums - Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd Back in Black - AC/DC Best Gig - Madstock - Finsbury Park - 1991
